All of our products have been vacuum packaged to ensure the best possible shelf life. Vacuum packages, even if completely thawed and delivered within a reasonable time of eight days or less are perfectly safe to eat. Please check each package as soon as you open your gift box. If the package has lost its seal or is loose around the meat, please smell the product. If there is no off-odor, the product is safe to eat.

However, we recommend that you rewrap any package that has lost its seal. All opened Ranch House meats may be stored in the refrigerator for several weeks. Any of the products may be refrozen safely for twelve months. Thaw meats in the refrigerator rather than at room temperature.

Shelf Life & Storage
If you are not going to use your product immediately, please freeze it. It will last up to 1 year in your freezer. Also, freeze any unused portions. Our refrigerated shelf life is as follows (if the vacuum seal is still intact):

Brisket -3 months	Turkey -1 month
Beef Tender -1 month	Jerky - 6 months, as long as the seal is intact
Pork Tender -1 month	Sausage - 1 month
Pork Ribs - 1 month	Pork Loin - 1month
Hams - 1 month
