Care of Your Product

  • All of our products have been vacuum packaged to ensure the best possible shelf life. Vacuum packages, even if completely thawed and delivered within a reasonable time of eight days or less are perfectly safe to eat.
  • Please check each package as soon as you open your gift box. If the package has lost its seal or is loose around the meat, please smell the product. If there is no off-odor, the product is safe to eat. However, we recommend that you rewrap any package that has lost its seal.
  • Thaw meats in the refrigerator rather than at room temperature.
  • All opened Ranch House meats may be stored in the refrigerator for several weeks. Any of our products may be refrozen safely for up to twelve months.
  • Always keep meat refrigerated or frozen. Refrigerate what is left over immediately or discard.

Shelf Life & Storage

  • If you are not going to use your product immediately, please freeze it. Also, freeze any unused portions.
  • It will last up to 1 year in your freezer.
